This Refund Policy applies to purchases of XER EVM Code Organizer Pro software licenses from EVM Controls Consulting LLC ("EVMCS," "we," "us," or "our"). It forms part of the XER EVM Code Organizer Pro End-User License Agreement.
1. Try Before You Buy
Every new installation includes a free 14-day trial with all features enabled. No payment or license key is needed to start the trial. We encourage you to test the software with your own schedules during the trial before you purchase.
2. License Purchases Are Final
A license key is issued for your email address and your computer's Machine ID and activates immediately. For that reason, all license fees are non-refundable once a license key has been issued, including for unused portions of the one-year license term, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
3. No Automatic Renewal
Licenses do not renew automatically. You will not be charged again unless you choose to buy a new license.
4. Billing Errors
If you were charged in error, such as a duplicate purchase or a charge you did not authorize, email info@evmcs.com within 30 days of the charge. Include your name, the email address used at checkout, and the transaction date or receipt number. We will review your request and, where the error is confirmed, refund the erroneous charge. The license key issued for that charge will no longer be licensed for use.
5. Software Issues
If the software does not perform materially as described in its documentation, contact info@evmcs.com. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue or provide a workaround. Any refund or license extension in that case is at our sole discretion.
6. Replacement Computers
If you replace your licensed computer or its operating system changes, contact info@evmcs.com with your new Machine ID. We will reissue your key for the remainder of your license term at no charge. This is not a refund, and the previous key will no longer be licensed for use.
7. Effect of a Refund
If a refund is issued for any reason, the license for that purchase ends on the date of the refund, and you must stop using and uninstall the software. You may keep the output you created while licensed.
8. How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, a refund may take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
